<Team Name> is proud to announce that we are forming a team to participate in the SAM’S CLUB MS 150 Bike Tour from Dallas to Fort Worth on May 3-4. Our team joins more than 3,000 cyclists in raising funds to fight multiple sclerosis and help those living with this unpredictable disease.
The SAM’S CLUB MS 150 Bike Tour begins in Frisco and continues 160 miles in two days, with an Overnight stop at Texas Motor Speedway and ending in Fort Worth’s Sundance Square. The Tour offers a challenge to cyclists of all skill levels. It is not a race; it’s a fund-raiser to help Texans with MS in which everyone can participate.
<Team Name> will be in good company as many corporations support this wonderful event. Participating teams include SAM’S CLUB, Frito-Lay, CountryWide, Southwest Airlines, TXU, Granite Properties, Halliburton/Landmark and many more. In 2005, more than 75 teams contributed nearly $930,000 to the overall $1.2 million raised to fight MS.
By collecting donations, team riders qualify for valuable fund-raising prizes. Visit www.ms150.org for information on fund-raising prizes.
Donations benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Lone Star Chapter, which provides vital services for thousands of Texans and their families who live with the daily challenges of multiple sclerosis. Funds also support cutting-edge MS research. Of the funds raised, 83 cents of every $1 goes directly to research and programs benefiting people with MS.
All employees, their families and friends are encouraged to join <Team Name> for the SAM’S CLUB MS 150. We’re calling for anyone interested in cycling, volunteering or donating to our team. Visit the official SAM’S CLUB MS 150 Web site at www.ms150.org to register as a participant or volunteer, as well as collect donations online.
