SAG
Support and Gear (SAG) volunteers drive vans and help transport cyclists who are unable to ride. SAG drivers are required to have a valid Texas Drivers License, proof of insurance, feel comfortable driving a large cargo van through tight rider and pedestrian areas, and be able to lift up to 40 pounds. It is important for SAG drivers to practice patience and be able to handle pressure situations.
SAG drivers are encouraged to have a second person to help load the van and navigate, but there is a maximum of two volunteers per van. Before becoming a SAG driver, you must participate as a SAG in a designated SAM’S CLUB MS 150 Recommended Ride.
SAG drivers must be able to work the entire Tour weekend.
